First, Dave Chappelle isn't struggling with being current, or anything else. In fact, "current" takes direction from Dave Chappelle.

Next, Black comedians, and all Black artists, should continue to ignore cancelation pressures that try to control their crafts.

It's all so rich ...and cherry-picked, really.

For years, Black rappers have regularly spun far worse in-group critique than what y'all are crying about now, and more often, and guess what? You sing right along, without this weird bandwagon, pearl-clutching cancelation bit, which I'll add is never not done well by millennials.
